I’m Amy, a classically trained clarinetist educated at leading music conservatories in the U.S., and a performer who has appeared at venues like Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center.
Now based in North Sydney, I offer boutique, one-on-one clarinet lessons tailored to each student’s goals and abilities.
Drawing on a rich background of international performance and pedagogy, my studio is a space where focused, joyful learning helps you grow as a musician—with clarity, confidence, and artistry.

My teaching philosophy
I believe learning an instrument is just one part of becoming a musician. My teaching focuses on developing complete musicianship—not just technique, but also listening, theory, history and musical expression.
My goal is to build a strong foundation so that students grow into confident, independent, and lifelong music lovers.
